Ex = 1.) CO2(g) + H20(l) = H2CO3(aq.)(Carbonic acid)

Hence, CO2 is acidic in nature.

2.) Na2O(s) + H20(l) = 2NaOH(aq.) (An Alkali)

Hence, Na2O is basic in nature
