Materials required: 2 beakers, honey, ink & water.

Procedure:

  • Pour some water in each of the beakers.
  • Put some honey in 1 beaker and ink in the other.
  • Observe what happens.

Observation: The honey dissolves slowly while the ink dissolves faster.

Conclusion: As the densities are different the rate of diffusion changes. Higher density, slower diffusion. Lower density, Faster diffusion.
