☺Phototropism is directional growth in which the direction of growth is determined by the direction of the light source. In other words, it is the growth and response to a light stimulus.
e.g. The growth of stems of plants towards light is an example of positive phototropism.
☺Chemotropism is growth of organisms (or parts of organism) such as bacteria and plants, navigated by chemical stimulus from outside of the organism
e.g. The growth of pollen tube towards the ovule in the ovary (through the stigma and style) is an example of positive chemotropism.
