Lockdown : A boon for nature.

This Lockdown period has been a long period that may not be good and enjoyable for humans but surely one for nature.

Nature has started to heal itself in the absence of a cruel being.

In all the ways ; humans are the one who have been benefited by the nature as they are going to enjoy the nature and its betterment after the lockdown ends.

Not only plants and animals but also atmosphere has been recovered.

Animals are now free to move anywhere they want as they aren't under the fear of facing humans who would harm them.

Wild plants and flowers are being benefited as well.

When there are no bustling parks , sanctuaries , gardens ; these plants are getting enough time to grow themselves in the best natural way possible .

Atmosphere is the most strengthened in this lockdown.

No cars , no bikes , no factories causing no pollution and no use of fossil fuels. This seems like mother nature is trying to heal herself .

In Delhi ; the air quality has improved to set up a record .

Water bodies which were polluted by factories and people by different ways is now ceased.

Lumbering has also been slowed down ; again benefiting the nature.

Answer:

In India, pollution levels have dipped over major cities. New Delhi, which regularly has unhealthy air conditions, saw its AQI falling below 95 last week — a big reduction from its monthly average of 161 from March 2019. Mumbai, too, has witnessed a similar reduction in pollution.

In China, satellite images have shown a dramatic drop in pollution levels. According to a BBC report, lockdown measures led to emissions falling by 25 per cent at the beginning of the year, and the proportion of “good quality air” days going up by 11.4 per cent in 337 cities.

Carbon monoxide levels in New York have gone down by 50 per cent compared with last year, according to researchers at Columbia University.
