Answer:

5/12 is non terminating because it's decimal expansion ends

 {2}^{2}  \times 3

to be terminating it's reminder should be in the form

{2}^{n}  \times  {5}^{m}

therefore it is non terminating

The answer is the attachment.

The question is incomplete , so you can solve the other problems this way .

  • First you split the denominator like in the attachment ,then check if it is divisible by the number in the attachment.
  • if the denominator is of the form 2^n×5^n , then you don't need to check if the numerator is divisible or not.
