Factorise the denominator..
16=2×2×2×2
16=2^4
As it is of the form 2^n
therefore it is terminating

Answer:

7*5^4/10000

This is terminating non- repeating decimal.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find out the nature of rational number without actual division, there must be 2 or 5 in the denominator to make zeroes in the denominator.

In the given question,

Write 16 in term of 2

16=2×2×2×2

16=2^4

7/2^4

To make zero 5 is required to be multiplied with 2

so Multiply 5^4 in the numerator and denominator

7*5^4/2^4*5^4

= 7*5^4/10000

This is terminating non- repeating decimal.
