Step-by-step explanation:

using remainder theorem,

sub x=3/2 in the given polynomial.

p (3/2) = 2 (3/2)³ - 5 (3/2)² + 7 (3/2) + 12

= 2 (27/8) - 5 (9/4) + (21/2) + 12

= (27/4) - (45/4) + (21/2) + 12

= (18/4) + (21/2) + 12

= (36+84)/8 + 12

= (120/8) + 12

= 15 + 12

= 27

p (3/2) is not equal to 0. so the given polynomial can not divided by x-3/2
