I have talked about this topic to my veterans' zillions of time and this is the era of Millenials, they are deeply mature and this thing has become more succinct lately and now the present generation prefers arranged marriage because they are allowed to say no if they don't feel the vibe with their fiance and their parents are happy as well.

But in some developing regions of India, a person's choice is still negligence. But guess what, it would come to a halt eventually.

Mostly, people are allowed to marry whoever they want. I barely get to see someone getting married forcefully to a person they don't anything about.
