Wood fire flares up on blowing air through it . Explain .

Explanation:

When we blow air at fire, we are creating a gradient of air pressure around it. Fresh air with higher oxygen content rushes towards the small area and the fire starts spreading around coal or wood, what ever it is. It appears a valid explanation
