the the present day race for money and material things are the results of mens putting no limit to his wants.as human wants and increase ,the wherewithal to satisfy them has also to be sought. and when we can't find it by fair means we start taking resort to unfair ones. in other words we can say a that all the corrupt practices in the the materialistic world of today are due to the infinite multiplicity of man's wants so all talk of rooting outcorruption from society and any attempt to check it will provide futile if a man does notput a check on his wants. having no wants is divine but it is not possible that a man who is an earthly being should have no wants but it is certainly possible for him to put a check on his superfluous wants. contentment is natural wealth luxury is artificial poverty said the great philosopher sokrates and he added that the fewer our wants the nearer we resemble gods. so to my mind this world which is caught and writhing in the cog wheels of corruption can be turned into a Paradise if you only minimise our wants. the mad rat race fore money will then automatically come to an end and society will get cleansed of all kinds of corruption.

Answer : humans, as both a community and as individuals, have a natural greed. So minimising human wants is a incredibly hard thing to do. But is wanting things inherently bad within itself?
In a capitalist system, humans are prone to wanting anything; from phones to cars to anything on the market. This drives the economy forward, and prompts growth. Without this need, a want for certain objects, growth within our system would stagnate. Whilst the system does often rely on the success of one at the expense of another, it doesn't lend itself to outright corruption on one end, or misery on the other.
Back to your question however; corruption is not necessary caused by a want of objects, but also a want of power. Being social animals, we crave power, something that seems to be bound to our genetic make-up (so to speak), and like removing the idea of "wanting" things, it is almost impossible. Besides, power doesn't always amount after the collection of your wants, nor does wanting things lead to power; it is all based on what the person themselves wants.
Well, that was my opening statement, I hope to here back from you and good luck.
