The work done(W) per unit charge(of magnitude q) to move it against the field is known as 'Potential Difference'.(V)

i.e, V=W/q

Over here, the potential that is applied at the end is 2 Volts, due to which the corresponding work done on the electrons to move throughout the circuit would be:

W=Vxq

For electron, q = 1.609x10^-19 Coulombs.
