The prime minister is the senior member of cabinet in the executive branch of government in a parliamentary system. The prime minister selects and can dismiss other members of the cabinet; allocates posts to members within the Government; is the presiding member and chairman of the cabinet.

2. He chairs cabinet meetings, and assigns work to the other ministers.
3. He also has the power to dismiss ministers.
4.If the Prime Minister resigns, the entire ministry is supposed to have resigned.
5 The Prime Minister is the most powerful member in the cabinet.
6.The power of the prime ministers has increased so much that parliamentary democracies are sometimes called the Prime Ministerial form of government.
