☺Heya tanu !

•well , to find the formula of this compound , we need to know two things .
•firstly, symbol of the elements and secondly , the valency of elements.
•the symbols of the elements is - magnesium - mg
and,
hydrogen carbonate or bicarbonate - HCO3

•and valency of these elements is :-
magnesium : 2
hydrogen carbonate : 1.

•now , we will frame the formula :-

( consider the attached image above)
...

•finally you will get the formula of magnesium hydrogen carbonate to be Mg(HCO3)2...
{ 3 and 2 will be written in subcript form) .

Answer:

hello tanu,

here in this formula magnesium hydrogencarbonate;

first we write Symbol of the element and then we will write the valency:

so first,Symbol:Mg and the valency of Mg=2,the symbol of hydrogencarbonate:HCO3-  and the valency is 1,so we cross mutiply mg and HCO3- and hence after cross multiplying the answer will be Mg(HCO3-)2.

simple and easy, you just cross mutiply it and answer will be coming this only.
