●It is a device that can detect metal , the basics can make a sound when it near some metal or it is used to sense any existing metal which is nearby. metal detectors works on the principle of transmitting a magnetic field and analysing a return signal from the target .when some metals are coming close to the coil , the amplitude of the reflective pulse is getting little lower and a duration of the pulse a little longer.
●it is used in many places like theatres, shopping malls , hotels etc .
=
☆it is an electronic device .
☆ An oscillator which produces AC current that passes through a coil producing an alternating magnetic field .
☆A part of the metal in near to the coil, eddy current will be induced in the metal.
☆This produces a magnetic field of its own.
☆if another coil is used to measure the magnetic field.
☆The change in the magnetic field due to the metallic object can be detected .
☆ Metal detectors are used to detect the weapons like guns , knives in the airports.
SIMPLE METAL DETECTOR CIRCUIT :--
==================================
● The main components a simple metal detector circuit are LC circuit , proximity sensor and the buzzer.
●The LC circuit is nothing but inductor and capacitor ,which are connected in parallel.
●The LC circuit activates the proximity sensor when it senses any metal close to it .
● The sensor glow the LED and makes a buzzer.

A metal detector , works on the principles of electromagnetic Induction..It has more Induction Coils present in it..that helps to interact with the metallic elements.
When a current is given or flown through the coil , it turns into blue..
And the magnetic field penetrants ryt through it..The magnetic field makes an electric current flow inside...the metallic object...!
