Working together, a and b finish a dtp work in 10 days. has a worked at half his efficiency and b at 5 times her efficiency, then they would have finished the dtp work in half the schedule time. in how may days can b complete the dtp work on her own

Let say A's 1 Day  work  = A

& B's 1 Day  Work  = B

W = dtp Work

Working together, a and b finish a dtp work in 10 days

10A  + 10B  = W    Eq1

A worked at Half efficiency

=> A's 1 Day  work  = A/2

b has worked at 5 times her efficiency

=> B's 1 Day  work  = 5B

they would have finished the dtp work in half the schedule time = 10/2 = 5 Days

=> 5(A/2)  + 5(5B)  = W

=> 5A + 50B  = 2W     Eq2

2*Eq2 - Eq1  

=>  100B -10B = 4W - W

=> 90B = 3W

=> 30B = W

=> B will take 30 days to complete Work
