ARE WORKING WOMEN INIMICAL TO THE SOCIETY?
In today's era,women are moving hand in hand with men. In fact, it happened in
as early as 18th century that women in Europe and other parts of the world
began organising their own campaigns, took part in revolutions and all. But, in
India, you know, everything arrives lately because of the superstitious beliefs
we dwell in.
Well, now that women have started working, they are still encroached upon by
the male members of our society. They usually are not able to be satisfied with
the achievements of their affinities, and wish to procure their dominance on
them. They disregard feminism, though they do not say that publicly. Instead,
they condemn their works when they are alone and discourage them all along the
way.
In Indian society, working of men is considered honooured, while, on the other hand, if the same job is done by a woman, it is regarded as destructive. In that case, they are blackmailed, tortured, sophisticated and are agitated by sarcasm. And it’s India, more than what we think, is important, “What would others think?” , “How would the society take it as?” Is that really important? When we are studying, and at the end of the year, we show our report card to our parents, they usually say, “Child, whatever you do, you do it for yourself. Me, your mom or the society has not right to tell you what shall you be, we can only provide resources to you, decision has to be taken by you only”.
But then, when we grow old, and have decided what to do, why are we forced to do works that our restricted? A woman earning more than her husband is neither liked by the family, nor by the husband itself. But, a husband earning higher than his wife is outwardly respected. Why is it so? In a family, whoever earns, whole of the family will be served na, then why people love to take money from the son, and not from the daughter, why don’t they allow their daughter – in – laws to work out when the son is roaming around freely?
They say that the working of women is destructive for the whole society. If that is the case, can you say how? Would those notes brought by women workers contain gunpowder, or bombs or what? Do those files held by women be impure or possess drugs or what? Do you have an answer?
IF YES, COME ON, MESS UP WITH US, AND WE’LL SHOW YOU WHAT WOMEN CAN DO. AND TRUST ME, THAT WOULD BE WHAT ONE CALLS INIMICAL AS….
We have a fire within us, you just need to alight the spark and you will burn. If our working is so destructive, then do remember, those women only cook food in your families, had they been destructive, they would have added something to your food, such that you won’t have anything to say from then on………
We don’t talk about girl power, or we don’t expect you to spread feminism, come down on the streets with banners in your hand “RESPECT GIRLS, PROTECT THEM”. But please, for heaven’s sake, allow us to do what we want to. Don’t be envious of us, instead, encourage us to do more……..
If there’s anything you men can do for us, PLEASE DO MOTIVATE US, THE WORLD HAS PLENTY OF CRITICS ALREADY…..
