1. how are grains stored in godowns?

ans: the government agencies like food corporation of India (FIC) buy the grains from farmers in a large scale and store them in godowns . main pesticides solution are sprays on the grains for time to time to protect from the insects.

2. what is animal husbandry?

ans: animal husbandry is the breeding and caring of domestic animals.

3. What are fertilizers? give some examples.

ans: fertilizers are their chemical substances which are provided by the farmer to the crops for their great or increase production.

examples of fertilizers

• organic fertilizers are peat, manure, slurry.
• nitrogen fertilizers.
• potassium fertilizers.
• phosphate fertilizers.

4. what are kharif crops?

ans: the crops which are song in rainy season are known as kharif crops.

• these are starts sown from June to July.
• harvested in September aur October.

5. why do farmers add manure to the soil?

ans: by the planting of plants regularly in the same place the fertility of soil decreases. so farmer add manure to the soil for increase the fertility of the soil by which the plant grows quickly.
