The process of breaking glucose by digestive enzymes to produce energy and pyuric acid is known as glycolysis ...it includes several steps....

if so here's your answer...........

glycolysis refers to the breaking of glucose into pyruvic acid to release energy. this pyruvic acid can be further broken down into 2 types.
1) anerobic respiration:-

a) lactic fermentation:-

C6H12O6---->pyruvic acid------> C3H6O3 + C02 + 2ATP

here C3H6O3 is lactic acid.

b) alchoholic fermentation:-

C6H12O6-----> pyruvic acid-----> C2H60 + CO2 + 2ATP

here C2H6O is ethanol.

2) aerobic respiration:-

C6H12O6----->pyruvic acid------> CO2 + H20 + 38ATP.
