Okay, so let’s time travel 250 million years ago.
So before the dinosaurs, there were literally weird ocean aliens.
So let’s take away the lithosphere. The ocean would be a bottomless pit of water. Dinosaurs wouldn’t have appeared. We wouldn’t have appeared. Some of the ocean life would have to keep swimming
and maybe some would even sink. We don’t want that, so let’s start over.
We can’t remove the Hydrosphere (removing the ocean) and Biosphere, (removing all life), so we can only remove the atmosphere.
Our earth would be a hostile planet without the atmosphere, but some organisms and tiny ocean life could still survive under the sea. So maybe not human life, surviving, but ocean life.
