would we be given our streams in cbse class 10 on the basis of our half-yearly and pre-board?.....because tomorrow we are being given our streams in school and the result is still not out. So that means SA-2 does not matter at all in allotting streams?

No this cannot happen. All boards results are decided on the basis of Fa, Sa 1 and Sa 2.
Pre boards are only considered in Fa 4. This means that your streams will be given to u on the basis of ur result. You are saying that ur school is opening tomorrow this doesn't mean that you are going to be given your stream. It's just a choice of urs that u want to go to ur school tomorrow or not becoz there will be no matter of study in ur class. I hope u understood.. Best of luck for ur 11th class.

good news:i got the stream that i wanted,pcm
but many students didn't get the stream of their choice
becuz of their poor performance in pre board
so yes it was on the basis of half yearly and pre board
so a happy day for me....but unfortunately sad for them:(
