Fungi have no chlorophyll and don't carry out photosynthesis, which is the main reason they are not now classified as plants. ... As other contributors have told you, fungi, bacteria and plants are different groups or organisms. They had a common ancestor, but hundreds of millions of years ago.

Animals bcozz they are either parasites or saprotroph.. basically there mode of nutrition is heterotroph. .where as plants are autotrophs
