Would you cool a bucket of water more quickly by placing it on Ice or by placing ice in it? Give reasons for your answer

harman9481: when we put ice on the bucket then I will get latent heat from the water inside the bucket and cool down the water quickly but if we put water inside the bucket it will take latent heat but when the ice melt the heat is again put in the water

this is because when we put the bucket on ice it will take latent heat from the water inside the bucket
