No shadow is not a matter . It is temporary . When light comes against any material or anything then the shadow appears. And when there is no light , we can't see the shadow of anything.
Thus the shadow is not a matter.
In the second way the matter takes place and it has existence but the shadow has not.
So the shadow is not a matter.
