Oldies but Goldies!
I rather prefer the good ol' 60's and 70's classic rock than today's music. Of course I'm not implying that all of today's music is bad, but the Billboard hits are definitely so boring. No meaningful lyrics, no beautiful chord progression, no instrumental arrangements, with the singer's auto tune cracked upto 11, obscene music videos- nah! not my thing
But the rock bands from the late 60s and the early 70s....that's my jam!
Psychedelic and progressive rock from the 60's (with bands like The Beatles, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Doors, The Beach Boys, The Yardbirds, Jefferson Airplane, 13th Floor Elevators, Cream, Byrds, etc), country folk songs by Bob Dylan, and of course I'll not forget to mention Beatlemania (the British Invasion!)
And then the 70s! Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Queen, Pink Floyd....we're not going to forget the great bands, right?
So, in conclusion- it's the 70s for me
