ACCORDING TO ME THE REVOLT OF 1857 WAS NOT A SEPOY MUTINY SINCE ALL THE PEOPLE IRRESPECTIVE OF RELIGION FOUGHT AGAINST THE BRITISHERS TO GET INDEPENDENCE.
ACCORDING TO THE ENGLISH THE BATTLE WAS FOUGHT ONLY BY THE SOLDIERS BUT INDIAN SCHOLARS BELIEVE THAT ALL THE PEOPLE HELPED THE SOLIDERS AND ALSO FOUGHT AGAINST THE BRITISHERS
