In the late vedic age of our Indian mythology

Purohitas and ancient scripture are consists in the veda

Here the four vedas are

  • Rigveda
  • Sama veda
  • Yajur veda
  • Atharva veda

These are codified the ideas and practices of vedic religions and laid down the classical Hinduism, They were probably composed between 1500 - 750 BC. which was written in the dates back of our world's oldest language at that time Sanskrit

The Veda consists of four subdivisions :

. the Samhitas ( mantras and benediction)

. the Aranyakas ( text on rituals, ceremonial and

symbolic sacrifices)

. the Brahmanas ( commentaries on rituals & spirit )

. the Upanishads ( texts discussing mediation, philosophical statements and predictions).
