Lymph (issue Fluid)

  • It is a different type of fluid found in our body and is also included in transportation.
  • It is made when some amount of plasma. proteins and blood cells emerge into intercellular spaces in the tissues within the pores existing walls of capillaries.
  • Lymph is related (similar) to the plasma of blood but is colourless and contains fewer proteins.
  • It runs in the vessels called lymphatic vessels which are also colourless.
  • Lymph from the intercellular spaces flows into lymphatic capillaries which moreover join to form large lymph vessels that eventually open into larger veins.
