Answer:

13x - 12y = 25

implies -12y = -13x + 25

ie,        y = (13/12)x + -25/12

This is of the form y = mx + c

Here m = 13/12   and c = -25/12

If we put x = 1 and  y = 1 in 13x - 12y = 25 gives 13 - 12 = 1not equal to 25.

Hence x = 1 and y = 1 are not the solution of  the given equation.
