Moss are small flowerless plant that typically grow in dense green clumps of mats,often the damp or shady location.The individual plant are usually composed of simplest leaves that generally one cell thick ,attached to a steam that may be branched and unbranched and has only a limited role in conducting water and nutrients . Although some species have conducting tissues, these are generally poorly developed and structurally difference from similar tissues found in vascular plant [3] mosses do not have seeds and fertiliser develop sporophytes with unbranched stalls topped with single capsules containing spores. they are typically 0.2-10cm (0.1-3.9in) tall, through some species are much larger Dawsonia ,the tallest Moss in the world can grow to 50 cm (20 in) in height
