Zone of Compleate Combustion
- This is the outer most zone of the candle flame and the hottest part of a candle flame.
- Due to adequate amount of oxygen compleate combustion takes place.
- The flame appears blue or non luminus and does not leave any residue.
Zone of Incompleate Combustion
- This zone lies in the middle of the candle flame and is also known as the zone of partial combustion. it emits modrate heat.
- Due to inadequate amount of oxygen only partial combustion takes place.
- The flame appears yellow and due to incompleate combustion it leaves a residue, soot which is black in colour.
