 Given \: rational \: number \: \frac{31}{25} \\= \frac{31}{5^{2}}

/* Multiplying numerator and denominator by 2² , we get */

 = \frac{2^{2}\times 31}{2^{2} \times 5^{2}} \\= \frac{ 4 \times 31}{(2 \times 5)^{2}} \\= \frac{124}{10^{2}} \: \blue { ( Denominator \:is \: power \:of \:10)}

Therefore.,

 \red{  \frac{31}{25}} \green { = \frac{124}{10^{2}}}
