LCM of 2 and 3 is 6

 \frac{5 \times 3}{2 \times 3} \:  and\: \frac{7 \times 2}{3 \times 2}

  = \frac{15}{6}  \:  \:  and \:  \: \frac{14}{6}

Now, we cant write 4 rational nos. between

  = \frac{15}{6} and \:  \frac{14}{6}

So we will multiply the denominator by 10

So..

  = \frac{15 \times 10}{6 \times 10}   \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \frac{14 \times 10}{6 \times 10}

  = \frac{150}{60}  \:  \:  and \:  \: \frac{140}{100}

so 4 rational nos. between

 \frac{150}{60}  \:  \: and \:  \:  \frac{140}{60}  \: are

 =  \frac{150}{60}   \:  \: \frac{152}{60}  \:   \:  \:  \: \frac{153}{60}  \:  \:  \ \:  \frac{154}{60}

Answer:

We will first equal the denominator of the rational number.

5/2 and 7/3

5/2 × 3/3 and 7/3 × 2/2

15/6 × 2/2 and 14/6 × 2/2

30/12 and 38/12

7 rational numbers are between 5/2 and 7/3.

30/12 < 31/12 < 32/12 < 33/12 < 34/12 < 35/12 < 36/12 < 37/12 < 38/12
