2) He was born as a 9th child to Prabhavati Dutt Bose and Janakinath Bose.

3) Netaji was a meritorious student and stood 2nd in 1913 matriculation examination.

4) Bose stood fourth in the Indian Civil Services exam in 1919, but resigned 23rd January 1921.

5) Formed Congress volunteer corps in 1928 after being elected as General Secretary of Indian National Congress.
