Our Vision is to create a platform for entrepreneurs to connect to Angels and Venture Capitalists, Mentors , Industry experts , Problem Solving Ecosystems where start-ups can get easy access to resources, evolve and co-exist.
Our Mission
1) To organize different Workshops, Programs which would benefit startups on their journey from a garage innovation to a full-fledged organization.
2) Develop relations with investors from India and abroad to help start-ups get access to funds
3) Support entrepreneurs to solve our problem statement by helping themselves through us, creating a WIN-WIN symbiotic relationship.
The Story backs to the meeting of first Start-Up Saturday when four entrepreneurs met across a table to discuss their problems faced during their entrepreneurial journey. The discussion which was of 3hours was extremely based on the experiences each person has faced while starting their businesses. From then ,they started off organizing the Second Start-Up Saturday meeting in different places across Guwahati increasing their numbers from 3 to 10 and then around 40 on the third event. The group got a reinforcing support when thought leaders and industry experts from Assam joined them as guide and mentors. This seems to be on a energy sharing mode of the entrepreneurs who have been participating in their discussion.
Till then The mission and Vision Statement will be to reach out to maximum entrepreneurs from different industry, different startups and ventures of size and stages , Understand problem statement which every venture faces be it bigger organization not able to connect to a Research and Development and the Startup which cannot have its own Research and development wing due to its Size . If this Gap is fulfilled by Startup Saturday from Guwahati , we can have Start-up Everyday across India to showcase the Startups from different places of North East to reach out to extract business in the pan Indian Landscape .
