MgCO₃+HCl------->MgCl₂+CO₂+H₂O
To balance the equation;
On reactant's side;              On product's side;
Mg-1                                       Mg-1
C-1                                          C-1
O-3                                          O-3
H- 1*2=2                                   H-2
Cl-1*2=2                                   Cl-2
Therefore the balanced equation is-
MgCO₃+2HCl------->MgCl₂+CO₂+H₂O.
