Write a balanced chemical equation with state symbols for the following reactions.
(i) Solutions of barium chloride and sodium sulphate in water react to give insoluble barium sulphate and the solution of sodium chloride.
(ii) Sodium hydroxide solution (in water) reacts with hydrochloric acid solution (in water)to produce sodium chloride solution and water.

BaCl2 (aq) + Na2SO4 (aq) ⇒ BaSO4 (s) + 2NaCl (aq)

BaSO4 is a white precipitate.

NaOH (aq) + HCl (aq) ⇒ NaCl (aq) + H2O (l)

Given that,

(I). Solutions of barium chloride and sodium sulphate in water react to give insoluble barium sulphate and the solution of sodium chloride.

(II). Sodium hydroxide solution (in water) reacts with hydrochloric acid solution (in water)to produce sodium chloride solution and water.

Balance equation :

When the number of different atoms of elements in left side is equal to the right side.it equation is called balance equation. The left side is called reactants side and right side is called products side.

We need to write the balanced chemical equation

Using condition of balance equation

(I). Barium chloride and sodium sulphate in water react to give insoluble barium sulphate and the solution of sodium chloride

The equation is

BaCl_{2}+Na_{2}SO_{4}\Rightarrow BaSO_{4}+2NaCl

(II). Sodium hydroxide solution reacts with hydrochloric acid solution to produce sodium chloride solution and water

The equation is

NaOH+HCl\Rightarrow NaCl+H_{2}O

Hence, This is required solution.
