Mrinal Sen-The Legendary Filmmaker
Mrinal Sen was an acclaimed filmmaker of Indian Film History. He was born on 14th May 1923 in Faridpur which is now in Bangladesh. He came to Calcutta for higher studies in Scottish Church College.
He started taking interest in film making and made his first feature film Raat Bhore in 1955 starring Uttam Kumar. He made various movies in Bengali and Hindi language.
He died of heart attack on 30th December 2018 at Kolkata. His age was 95 at that time.
