Answer: There have been a lot of persons from North-East India who got very name & fame but some of them didn't made it far beyond their state of region. Like:-

Explanation: Uddhab Bharali- He had made 118 astonishing inventions to his name, he belongs from Lakhimpur in Assam. He was very Interested in Technology from his childhood in respect to which he has made 140 inventions in agriculture till now.

Pitambar Deva Goswami- His name is one of the most celebrated names in cultural & Social life of Assam. He has learned many traditional languages such as Sanskrit Grammar, Literature, Philosophy ect but aside of this he also kept on learning modern language such as modern Assamese and English.
