Sudha Murthy was born in 1950 in shiggaon in North Karnataka prolific writer in Kannada she has written several novels for technical books 3 Travelogues and 2 collection of short stories previous English book wise and otherwise has been translated into 13 Indian languages her story deal with common life and human values such as Charity kindness and self realisation as sensitive right she writes about the suffering of the ordinary people the main character in all the book are highly educated non compromising principle women
