Gymnosperms and angiosperms are phanerogams.

Pteridophyta, Gymnosperms, Angiosperms are the vascular plants. They have vascular tissues for conducting various substances within their body. Angiosperms are further classified on the basis of number of cotyledons they have:

1) Monocots(having single cotyledons):

vascular bundles are arranged in complex form.

2) Dicots (having two cotyledons):

have tap root system

vascular bundles are arranged in a ring.
