Write a brief note on estate system in French revolution

The french society was divided into three estates.
First estate -
It consisted of the clergy abd the church who were given all the privileges and were exempted from all the types of taxes.

second estate-
It include nobels and the rich people of the society who were given all the privileges and they did not pay any taxes.

Third estate-
It was largest estate with 90% of the population and mainly included peasants who were obliged to work in the fields and was supposed to pay all the taxes.

France had three categories in it's society like :-
1. Clergy (1 estate)
2. Nobles (2 estate)
3. Businessmen ,merchants , court official ,lawyers , peasants ,artisans, small peasants , landless labour , servants
Note that within the third estate some were rich and others poor.
