Mayday celebrated on 1 May, is also known as international wOrker's day.
It is also a spring festival
Dating back to May 1,1886, the labours of America took to a strike.
Their main motto was the prohibition of working of labours and workers for more more than 7-8hours
This was followed by a bomb blast in Chicago
Hundreds of people lost their lives and several suffered injuries
Speaking of India, it was first celebrated in Chennai.
This day basically celebrates the true spirit of workers
It is a national holiday in Mexico and few countries of South Americas
Bank holiday for Russian federations
People used to work under unsafe conditions for more than 14hrs
Nevertheless, rather than suppressing the labor and anarchist movements, the events of 1886 and the execution of the Chicago anarchists, spokesmen of the movement for the eight-hour day, mobilized many generations of radicals.
The workers and working classes are highly to respected and recognize their rights

★This is the day when men and women participates in order to defend their rights and to safeguard their interests.
★Also on the day there are public speeches by our Leaders of various different political parties.
