alluvial soil- this soil is founded mostly in northern plains of uttar Pradesh ,Bihar ,and West Bengal.this is formed by deposition of sand and silt by the rivers along their banks.

red soil- this type of soil is red in colour due to the presence of iron in it.it is rich in potassium. it is found in the Deccan plateau status success joga and Odisha Bihar and Chhattisgarh.
