Sub: Bad condition of roads
Sir/Madam,
Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I wish to highlight the bad condition of roads in Rajendra Nagar. Citizens pay a number of taxes to ensure the smooth running of the government. A government should provide basic facilities like good, clean roads and a safe environment to the citizens. In our locality, the roads have not been repaired for the past 3 years. There are pitfall and breakages which cause accidents every other day. The repair work done by government agencies is shoddy and does not last for more than a few months. The situation is aggravated in monsoons when many people get injured and have accidents due to the worn out roads. The RWAs have made numerous appeals to the governing bodies but no concrete action has been taken. The issue needs to be addressed urgently before the onset of the monsoons.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Amadeet Singh
