Answers
Explanation:
Lencho was a person who strongly believes in God but not in humanity. He always used to call God for any purpose and also he said that god was responsible for the hail storm. Lencho one day saw that all his crops were destroyed and cried and asked god to help. He was a faithful person and had high Hope's on god. So, he wrote a letter to god hoping that god would reply. But, The postmaster saw that it was impossible. To make it possible he cut off his and some kind employees salary to give him the majority money he required.
But destiny changed and Lencho thought that Postmaster was a crook and took away some money as the god had sent the full amount , and so he again requested god to do so.
The character of Lencho inspires us to have faith in God and remain calm in difficult situations. The chapter ‘A Letter to God’ by G.L. Fuentes highlights immense power in man’s innocent faith in God. Where there is faith, positivity is bound to be there. Although, Lencho’s entire corn crop was damaged in the hailstorm, yet he was optimistic about receiving God’s help. He did not sulk, whine and pine; rather he wrote a letter to God for help. And quite miraculously, the help arrived.
So, we see one’s optimism and positivity can bring in the spark of brightness even in the adverse circumstances. The most wonderful quality of faith is one who has it, never panics even in the face of direst situations.
