Miss Sullivan was Helen's first teacher who came into her life as a light of love. she used to her with love, care and never lost her patience . She taught Helen Manual language. she guided her in this possible ways . she taught her history, science and mathematics .

She also took her to the Boston perkins Institution of deaf and blind . It was her teacher effort that Helen learn to speak as miss Sullivan was a true mentor for Helen.
