Mrs. Pumphrey was a rich woman who had a little pet dog called Tricki. She was ridiculously lenient and would spoil the dog by providing him juice, eggs, chocolates, cakes, and wine. She was unconscious and did not know that the dog wanted sports also. So when he befell sick she was very concerned and thought that something very dangerous had happened to him. She was foolish but tender-hearted. She wept bitterly when Tricki was driven to the hospital. She was a pure person and it was obvious to please her. She was happy when Trichy recovered from illness. She was thankful to Dr. Harriot for making Tricki salubrious. So we can say that Mrs. Pumphrey was a rich, ridiculously indulgent, tender-hearted, simple, easy to gratify, and a grateful person.
