I had just got home from school and I am so happy that it is the weekend. I can finally just chill out and not have to stress so much about my school life. I went upstairs to my room to set my heavy bag down that had a lot of books in it on my floor. I also had set down my notebooks that i could not fit into my bag on my bed. Then I rushed downstairs just for the fun of it. Then as I got to the bottom of the stairs my phone rang. I reached into the pocket of my jacket and answered my phone with an annoyed tone, which I didn't mean to do it just happened. I then got a reply from a familiar voice I never in my life would have expected to hear. It sounded like Josh Dun! I then didn't want to get my hopes up because it could also be someone different that just sounds like Josh Dun. I then finally answered with a hello. The voice on the other side said if Roxxie was there, I replied with "This is Roxxie". Then the voice went silent and then finally said "This is your brother, Josh...Josh Dun". I literally I did not know what to think. Was he my brother or the famous Josh Dun ? Or was he some random stranger stalking me? I then said "Who is this really?". The person replied with "I am Josh Dun your brother, I know that may sound hard to believe, but it's true...". I was actually starting to believe what he was saying, but then again I couldn't believe it! I then asked him some questions just to make sure he was my actual brother. The first question I asked was if he knew our mothers name because obviously he would have to know it and he replied with "Yes of course I do! Her name is Jennet". That for a fact was true so I asked him another. The second question was if he knew me because I remember recently being told he knew me. He automatically replied surprisingly with "Yes I also know a lot about you, just because I never met you doesn't mean I don't know about you, I always kept track of stuff going on in your life Roxxie, mom was the one filling me in because I told her too...I wanted to know some stuff about you and not be clueless". I couldn't say anything, I just didn't have the words to reply back to that and so all that came to me was to end the call. So i did. I then went over and sat on one of the couches and just started thinking to myself. I could not believe that he kept track of what I was doing or whatever, but I instantly thought otherwise at first. I then realized that must be my brother because he just knows so much and I am pretty sure my mom got the message to him that I wanted to talk to him. Today was turning out to be a long day and I just needed a break so I decided to turn off my phone in case he called again because I just wasn't ready for what he had to say, I mean I also think there is really no excuse that my own brother couldn't come and at least once see me. I am just really not sure what to think and this is life changing if what he said was true, that him, Josh Dun is actually my brother! This was a lot to take in and even though he wants to probably explain some stuff to me I just can't right now. I am definitely not ready to talk to him or even meet him yet. I just need to think on it, but not too much, I still want to enjoy my weekend.
