here was a wide spectrum of inter-house team sports played by the students of Grades 11 and 12 from September to October 2017. Volleyball and Football tournaments were held between 18 to 20 September and Basketball was held between 10 to 13 October and finally, Cricket was organized from 10 to 17 of October.
Each tournament was a very exciting challenge for our four great houses. Volleyball had Ruby bagging the 1st place, Emerald 2nd and Sapphire 3rd with Ismael Zabeeh and Lester Mendonca showcasing their talent and ensuring the tournament was definitely exciting. Ruby again shined bright by coming in 1st in Football with Sapphire following close in 2nd and Emerald in 3rd place. The Rubies were on a winning streak and all set to take over every team in the inter-house tournament. The basketball results had Sapphire coming in 1st, Topaz finally making an appearance coming 2nd and Ruby positioned 3rd. Prospective talents like Karan Manghnani and Vedank Kale lit up the tournament in unimaginable ways by scoring baskets and providing assists. The Cricket results had Emerald winning 1st place with Topaz coming in 2nd and Ruby 3rd. This tournament was the most exciting by far with Nishant Iyer winning best player, Gaurang Agarwal winning best bowler, Sagar Chaturvedi winning best batsman and Parth Gaikwad winning Rising Star.
The 2017 inter-house tournaments were easily the most exhilarating in comparison to the previous years and were brimming with team spirit and camaraderie.
