The Indian constitution consists of certain articles which emphasize for equality of all and thus protect the rights of all:-

1.Article 14 emphasizes on “EQUALITY BEFORE LAW” which means every citizen of this country should be treated equally and no one will be discriminated by law.
2.Article 15 prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, religion, etc.
3.
Article 16 provides the equal opportunity in matters of public employment without any discrimination on the grounds of caste, sex, religion, etc.

These are the part of fundamental rights of the constitution where, a citizen can enforce their rights if they are discriminated by the state.

Thus, these articles guarantee equality to every individual of the country including children, women, minorities as well as weaker sections of the society.

Indian constitution provides the protection to the right of children through Article 21-A.This article protects the educational right of the children who are between the ages of 6-14 years and states that “the state shall provide free and compulsory education to all children” (between the ages of six to fourteen years).

There is an Article 45 also, which talks about the protection of the right of children through providing early childhood care until they complete the age of 6yrs.

Our Constitution provides many rights to the minorities and other weaker sections through various provisions. It safeguards the language, script and culture of the different minority community through Article 29 (1) and also provides the right to the minorities to take admission into any educational institution without any discrimination through Article 29 (2).

Our constitution also provides right to the minority communities (under article 30) to establish and administer educational institutions based on their religion or language.

In this way our constitution protects the rights of children, woman, minorities and weaker section.

Hope it helps!
Plz. ask if you need any extra help regarding this.
